Why Should I Come?

We provide an opportunity for you to learn in a safe, encouraging environment. As well as bringing great people together to have a fun building prototypes of services, we hope to improve produce demo-able ideas that can be followed up and put into practice in real life. We do this by holding a competitive event for creating prototypes and building ingenious (and occasionally tongue-in-cheek ) projects that help improve local and national services and make use of open data.

I'm not a designer...

Didn't you get the memo? Everyone's a designer now. Come and join other non-designers to learn simple, effective designer skills and tools, which you can take back to work on Monday.

We realise that everyone needs a bit of skills training to develop better services in their job, or in the classroom, and this is a yearly gathering of like-minded folks, who come together for a fun, learning experience.

Anyone can get involved!

So, if you have ever thought "wouldn't it be cool if ..." about government, or other services, then do come along.
